Job Summary:

The Training Officer is responsible for supporting the design, facilitation, evaluation, and auditing of training programs that enhance employee competencies and performance in a retail environment. The role ensures that training initiatives align with organizational goals, are effectively delivered, and support employee development at store level, including compliance with store training standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate onboarding, job induction, and skills-based training programs for store employees.
  • Assist in designing and updating retail-focused training modules, manuals, and materials.
  • Coordinate training logistics, including scheduling, attendance, and reporting.
  • Conduct pre- and post-training assessments and monitor trainee performance.
  • Collect, analyze, and report on training evaluation data.
  • Support implementation of training programs and other store-level activities.
  • Collaborate with HR and Store/Department Managers to identify training needs.
  • Audit training-related standards at stores and ensure compliance.
  • Willingness to travel/rove to multiple store locations as required.
