We're Hiring: Technical Lead

Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership & Strategy

• Serve as the primary technical subject matter expert (SME) for our platforms and its related components.

• Define and drive the technical roadmap and architecture, aligning with business goals and industry best practices.

• Provide guidance on the design and implementation of new features, integrations, and application updates, ensuring they meet non-functional requirements like security, performance, and scalability.

• Lead and participate in technical deep-dives, architectural reviews, and complex troubleshooting to resolve critical issues and perform root cause analysis (RCA).

Project & Delivery Management

• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the

highest quality standards.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into clear

technical outcomes.

• Ensure the implementation of modern engineering practices, including CI/CD, test automation, and robust DevOps processes.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Act as the primary technical liaison within internal and external partners

• Communicate complex technical concepts and project updates clearly and confidently to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executives and business leaders.

• Coordinate with the Contracts and Vendor Manager and other relevant departments to ensure that vendor services,

support, and contractual outputs are aligned with technical needs.

Qualifications:

• At least of 10 years of experience in enterprise software development and implementation, with at least 5 years in a technical leadership or management role.

• Proven experience leading technical teams in a financial services or digital banking environment.

• Experience with the Backbase Digital Banking Platform is a significant plus.

• Hands-on experience with digital transformation projects in large financial institutions is a major advantage.

Technologies:

• Core: Java, Spring Framework.

• Front-end: Angular, Kotlin, Swift.

• Build: Maven, Gradle.

• Cloud: Docker, Kubernetes & cloud deployment on platforms like AWS or Azure.

• Strong proficiency in SQL for database queries, troubleshooting, and data analysis.

• A solid understanding of Microservices Architecture and API integrations (REST/SOAP).

• Experience with CI/CD tools and agile methodologies.

• Knowledge of IT security principles and best practices for banking applications.
