About the role

Plontur Group is seeking enthusiastic and creative Design Interns to join our Architecture team in Pasig City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time internship position that offers an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the design and architecture industry whilst working alongside experienced professionals. As a Design Intern, you will contribute to various architectural projects and design initiatives, supporting the development of innovative solutions for our clients.

This role is based on-site in Pasig City, Metro Manila, allowing you to immerse yourself in our collaborative studio environment and learn directly from industry experts.

What you'll be doing

1. Assist in the creation and development of architectural drawings, renderings and visual presentations for client projects
2. Support senior architects and designers in conducting site surveys, measurements and documentation
3. Contribute to the conceptualisation and design process for residential, commercial or mixed-use developments
4. Prepare project models, both physical and digital, to communicate design concepts effectively
5. Conduct research on design trends, building materials, construction methodologies and relevant architectural precedents
6. Assist in preparing project proposals, specifications and technical documentation
7. Participate in design review meetings and brainstorming sessions with the team
8. Support the coordination of project timelines and deliverables under supervision
9. Learn and utilise industry-standard design and architectural software as required

What we're looking for

1. Currently undertaking a Bachelor’s in Landscape Architecture or Architecture
2. Portfolio showcasing previous design work (academic or personal projects are welcome)
3. Amenable for a hybrid work set up (on-site once a week)
4. Available for either a part-time (24 hours/week) or full-time internship
