Counter Top Worker (Modular Cabinet)

Roles and Responsibilities of a Production Worker:

1. Reviews customer order details using job orders to determine the characteristics of the finished item, materials to be used, and machine setup requirements.

2. Produces workpieces according to the specifications outlined in the job order details. Retrieves the appropriate materials and performs various manufacturing tasks.

3. Inspects the workpiece visually or by touch to ensure that the product meets the desired standards.

4. Operates machinery—must maintain machinery to standards, set points, program, adjust for different types of products, and perform necessary preventative maintenance.

5. Maintains the condition of the work area (i.e., free of debris, products in the correct location, etc.).

6. Adheres to company safety policies and procedures.

7. Performs other duties as assigned.

8. Selects the appropriate processes from clearly prescribed rules, past practices, or instructions. Seeks advice and guidance on unusual areas or problems from the supervisor. Deviations from the standard are managed by the supervisor.

9. Typically involves detailed quality reviews and procedures with a senior co-worker and/or supervisor.

10. Achieves company operations and missions by completing relevant results as required.

11. Contributes to achieving organizational goals.

12. Develops and implements timelines to achieve targets.

13. Contributes to company growth through effective teamwork.
