JOB PURPOSE:

To assist and support laboratory analysts in performing tasks. Ensure the implementation of quality system to avoid and minimized quality defects and complaints. Abide to standard procedure in every execution of tasks to prevent incidents and damage to personnel, product, and environment. Maintain cleanliness and order in laboratory area. Provide a complete track of records and documents for records keeping and product traceability.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Adhere to all standard procedures in performing all tasks
• Ensure complete and correct packaging and label for every delivery made
• Minimize source and propagation of quality defects
• Provide support to analysts in performing critical tasks
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the process
• Maintain an orderly and clean environment for QA and Laboratory
• Prepares standard equipment, facilities, and/or solutions for laboratory procedures in accordance with standard procedures
• Transports material and/or specimens to/from laboratory as required
• Provide support to analysts in performing critical tasks
• Perform minor tests and analysis on WWTP and products
• Coordinate with Logistics and Production Department in dissemination of instructions from/to QA Department
• Take charge in handling and transfer of laboratory waste
• Cleans, break down, and stores laboratory equipment, facilities and supplies after completion of tasks, as required.
• Provide IR for laboratory accidents and other type of incident
• Communicate with QA Supervisor and QA Department for any type of incident
• Prepare complete details on Gate Pass, Transmittals, and Incident Reports
• Provide records and back-up of all generated documents
• Provide logs of consumed office and laboratory supplies
• Performs inspection and ensures quality of IBCs, drums, and ISO tanks
• Assists Chemtech and Chemist in daily routine laboratory activities
• Monitors retained samples and finished good products;
• Ensures complete documentation, inventory and records; and maintais laboratory cleanliness and order.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• Undergraduate, college graduate or vocational course graduate, preferably one related to Science and Technology
• Has background in laboratory and/or production quality control and assurance work
• Has experience in laboratory product control and QA inspection
• Basic laboratory procedure and safety, proper handling of glassware and equipment
• Can efficiently work within areas that may involve moderate exposure to extreme temperature, dirt, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odor, and loud noise.
