- Perform physical, chemical, and microbiological testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
- Interpret and document test results, ensuring accurate reporting of findings.
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Ensure all laboratory tests meet regulatory requirements, including FDA, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and other relevant standards.
- Identify deviations from established procedures and suggest corrective actions.
- Maintain and enforce high standards of quality assurance throughout the testing process.
- Conduct tests related to packaging materials (e.g., stability, compatibility, and physical integrity tests).
- Perform validation of manufacturing processes to ensure consistency and product integrity, particularly in packaging lines.
- Monitor packaging processes to ensure that finished products are packaged to specifications, ensuring safety, labeling, and quality.
- Maintain detailed records of all laboratory analyses and test results in compliance with quality assurance standards.
- Contribute to documentation related to product specifications, batch records, and test protocols.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
- Experience with GMP, FDA, and other relevant regulatory standards.
- Familiarity with packaging materials and manufacturing processes is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of packaging integrity testing and manufacturing process validation.
- Proficient with laboratory equipment, data analysis software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
