Be part of our team at The Black Hen! We are located at Palico-Balayan-Batangas Rd, Calaca, Batangas.

This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of cooking stations, kitchen equipment, floors, and every restaurant equipment. The steward should also maintain the organization of kitchen supplies and storing of restaurant stocks/inventory. They should also follow through at all times, with the restaurant hygiene and safety standards.

• Assists the kitchen which includes, preparation of stock and inventory of food items and kitchen supplies, and ensuring the kitchen is ready before service hours.
• Assist chefs (as needed) and may perform basic cooking responsibilities such as peeling and cutting foods.
• Regularly cleaning kitchen equipment and maintaining surfaces as necessary.
• Compliance to high standards of hygiene and food safety regulations in the workplace, at all times. 

• Preferably a graduate of Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality Management, or any service management related course such as Food & Beverage.   
• Preferably with at least 3 years of experience in any large to small scale kitchen operations or in Asian restaurants/cuisine.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, solution-driven, possess strong communication skills and ensure teamwork and organization in the kitchen.
• Proficient in culinary terms and concepts including a broad range of food knowledge.
• Willing to be assigned in Calaca, Batangas (LODGING will be provided, details will be further discussed during the interview).
