Ensure basic cleaning jobs are carried out as quickly as possible.
Collect and wash up pots and pans.
Clean food preparation areas and equipment, in addition to crockery and cutlery.
Keep the storeroom organized.
Keep work surfaces, walls, and floors clean and sanitized.
Support the kitchen team in maintaining hygiene standards.

Educational Qualifications: Minimum of a high/senior high school degree.
Experience Level: Less than 1 year of experience in kitchen stewarding or a related field.
Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in kitchen hygiene and sanitation.
Familiarity with the principles of stewarding.
Ability to perform heavy lifting comfortably.
Keen attention to detail.
Understanding of mise-en-place to organize and prepare a kitchen workspace.
Responsibilities and Duties: Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas and equipment.
Assist in food preparation and storage.
Manage dishwashing and waste disposal.
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Working Conditions: The job requires working in various shifts, including weekends and holidays, in a fast-paced, hot, and humid environment.
