Design & Concept Development:

• Assist in the development of design concepts and architectural drawings. Create and modify CAD and BIM models, 3D visualizations, and other presentation materials.

Documentation & Drafting:

• Produce detailed drawings, diagrams, and specifications for construction documents using AutoCAD, Revit, and other software.

Project Support:

• Collaborate with senior architects and engineers in the preparation and development of project documentation, ensuring compliance with client requirements, building codes, and regulations.
• Site Analysis & Coordination: Conduct site visits and analyses to gather data, observe existing conditions, and document findings. Assist in coordinating with consultants and contractors to ensure design integrity and construction feasibility.
• Research & Development: Stay current on industry trends, materials, technologies, and sustainability practices to support innovative and forward-thinking design solutions.
• Client Interaction: Assist in client meetings, presentations, and project updates, providing technical support and addressing client concerns when necessary.
• Project Management Assistance: Provide assistance with project scheduling, budgeting, and coordination with other team members and external consultants to ensure timely and successful project delivery.

Education:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field from an accredited institution.

Experience:

• 0-2 years of experience in architectural design or related fields. Internships or previous work experience in architecture firms are a plus.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of BIM and 3D modeling software is a plus.
• Design Skills: Strong conceptual design ability, creativity, and attention to detail. A solid understanding of architectural design principles, space planning, and building systems.

Communication Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively present design ideas and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Problem-Solving:

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to work independently and take initiative.

Organizational Skills:

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Licensure:

• Not required, but the candidate must be interested in pursuing architectural licensure.
