Job Description

Support participation in meetings and provide interpretation between Japanese and local staff.

Support the conduct of Japanese language training for Filipino engineers, covering reading, writing, and conversation skills.

To prepare for a Team Leader role in Japan within approximately one year, leading a team of around 15 Filipino employees, the individual will be responsible for:

  • Monitor the performance and attendance of Filipino trainees
  • Provide guidance and resolve day-to-day issues
  • Report to and coordinate with Japanese management
  • Support communication between Japanese and Filipino staff
  • Conduct onboarding and training for new trainees
  • Educate employees on workplace rules and life in Japan
  • Handle employee inquiries and concerns
  • Coordinate information sharing between headquarters and the Philippine factory

After about one year with the company, the candidate will be transferred to the Japan headquarters through an internal transfer program.

The monthly salary in Japan will be approximately JPY 190,000.

If this amount is lower than the current salary in the Philippines, the difference will be paid as an allowance in PHP to a Philippine bank account.

Fluent conversation in Japanese

N2 or N3 holder (N2 is better, but N3 is acceptable if she has experience of teaching Japanease)

MS Office

Experience managing a team (more than 10 persons)
