A Utility/Janitor is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall upkeep of the workplace or facility. The role ensures that all areas are clean, organized, and safe for employees, clients, and visitors.

Job Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent is an advantage
• With experience in janitorial or utility work is preferred
• Physically fit and able to perform cleaning tasks
• Hardworking, trustworthy, and responsible
• Can work with minimal supervision
• Willing to render overtime or shifting schedules if needed

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize offices, hallways, restrooms, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces
• Collect and dispose of garbage properly
• Refill cleaning and hygiene supplies as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of furniture, fixtures, and equipment
• Perform minor maintenance and repair tasks when necessary
• Follow safety and sanitation policies and procedures
• Assist in setting up rooms or areas for meetings and events
• Report any damages or maintenance concerns to the supervisor
