Job Title: IT Systems & Network Specialist (Digital Media Infrastructure)

Role Overview

As an IT Systems & Network Specialist, you are the backbone of our digital delivery. Unlike a traditional corporate IT role, your priority is ensuring our clients' digital advertisements are running flawlessly across all platforms. You will bridge the gap between high-level cloud administration and the ground-level execution of media uploads and network stability. If a digital billboard goes dark or a web-based ad lags, you are the first responder and the long-term architect of the solution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Digital Ad Operations & Media Management

• Ad Playback Continuity: Oversee the digital infrastructure to ensure that video and display ads are playing smoothly and without interruption across all endpoints.
• Media Deployment: Handle the technical upload and distribution of new media assets to local and cloud-based content management systems (CMS).
• Quality Assurance: Regularly audit digital displays and ad-streams to ensure correct formatting, high resolution, and synchronized playback.

2. Cloud & Systems Administration

• Cloud Infrastructure: Manage and optimize our cloud environment where our ad assets and delivery software are hosted.
• Storage Management: Maintain high-capacity cloud and local storage systems for large-scale 4K video and graphic files.
• Automation: Set up automated scripts or schedules for ad rotations and system updates to minimize manual intervention.

3. Network Monitoring & Troubleshooting

• Connectivity Oversight: Monitor the network 24/7 to ensure all digital ad locations (remote displays, web servers, or kiosks) stay online.
• Rapid Response: Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity drops, hardware failures, or software glitches that prevent ads from playing.
• Security: Maintain firewalls and secure VPN tunnels to protect our proprietary ad-delivery network from external breaches.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years in IT Infrastructure, ideally within an Ad Agency, Media House, or Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) company.
• Technical Foundation: Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and how they relate to streaming and media delivery.
• Cloud Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Cloud Administration (AWS/Azure) and Content Delivery Networks (CDNs).
• Media Tech: Familiarity with digital signage software and media codecs/formats.
• Degree: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent technical experience.
