Job Summary

The IT Support Specialist is responsible

for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems,

hardware, software, and network issues. The role ensures that all IT equipment

and systems operate efficiently to support daily business operations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

-Provide technical support to employees for computer systems, printers, internet connectivity, and other IT equipment.

-Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, systems, networks, and peripherals.

-Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network problems in a timely manner.

-Monitor and maintain computer systems and network performance.

-Assist in setting up new employee workstations, including computers, email accounts, and system access.

-Maintain IT inventory including computers, peripherals, and software licenses.

-Perform regular system updates, backups, and security checks.

-Provide user guidance and training on basic IT systems and applications.

-Coordinate with vendors or service providers for system repairs and maintenance when necessary.

-Ensure compliance with company IT policies, procedures, and data security standards.

Qualifications

-Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

-Proven experience in IT support or technical support roles is an advantage.

-Knowledge of Windows operating systems, networking, and hardware troubleshooting.

-Familiarity with basic network configuration and IT security practices.
