Description

Operational Duties:

  • Encode inventory transactions accurately and on time
  • Update shipment documents promptly and report discrepancies
  • Assist in root cause analysis for inventory challenges and propose solutions
  • Ensure data integrity and perform daily inventory reconciliations
  • Record transactions between business units and resolve inconsistencies
  • Maintain high accuracy in inventory records and facilitate adjustments
  • Validate inventory records and conduct scheduled counts
  • Collaborate with Production and Warehouse departments for inventory reconciliation
  • Support ad hoc projects from various departments
  • Coordinate with 3rd party storage hubs for order processing
  • Facilitate inventory movements between storage sites
  • Provide picking lists for Production Department


Analytical and strategic duties:

  • Analyze sales data to determine optimal time of purchase of inventory items minimizing inventory cost while ensuring no lost business due to out of stock
  • Monitor and report slow-moving, expired, and nearly expired SKUs
  • Improve workflow efficiency across various departments using tools and programs
  • Ensure compliance with inventory relevant standards through close collaboration with warehouse, sales and production manager
  • Continuous improvement and automation of inventory and supply chain relevant processes


Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in job relevant course
  • Minimum 2 years warehouse inventory control management and ideally warehouse management
  • Supply Chain management (when to order, optimum order point calculations etc.)
  • Expert level in Excel and Google Sheets
  • With strong proficiency in MS Office software like, VBA, Macros, ERP system like SAP, Netsuite, Quickbooks, etc.
  • Work experience in a meat processing plant set up is a plus
  • Process improvment and TQM understanding is a plus

Required Skills:

  • Strong organizational, analytical, mathematical skills and is detail oriented
  • Resourceful, critical thinker and with strong problem solving skills
  • Can work independently and with minimal supervision
  • With good interpersonal and customer service skills to collaborate with departments necessary for the job
  • Strict and assertive in order to deliver work with speed and precision
  • Fast learner and trainable
