SENIOR INTERIOR DESIGN

Conceptualization and Design

• Work closely with clients, designers, and project managers to understand project
• requirements and design objectives. To address design modification and client feedback.
• Present design concepts and drawings to client for approval and refinement.

Technical Drawings

• Develop detailed technical drawings, including 2D plans and 3D models, using CAD software.
• Ensure that drawings are precise, compliant with industry standards, and suitable for
• production.

Sales Team collaboration

• Joint calls with sales team.
• Work closely with the sales team to understand client requirements, objectives, and
• budgets.
• Collaborate on design proposals and presentations that address client needs and
• preferences.
• Attend Tender Interviews and clarification meetings, representing the design perspective and ensuring client requirements are accurately conveyed.

Material Selection

• Specify and select appropriate materials, finishes, and hardware components for each
• furniture design. Consider factors such as durability, aesthetics, and sustainability.

Collaboration

• Collaborate with Senior Product Designer / material specialist to explore and develop new materials suitable for customized furniture projects.
• Collaborate with production team to ensure that drawings are followed accurately during the manufacturing process.

Detailed Drawings

• Proficient in space planning and mood board creation.
• Create detailed, precise and comprehensive drawings and specifications for each custom furniture piece, including dimensions, materials and finishes.
• Prepare 2D and 3D drawings, rendering, and technical drawings for client approval and production reference. This is a key part in the production process, ensuring, that custom furniture pieces are accurately manufactured to meet client requirement.

Prototyping and Mockups

• Oversee the creation of prototypes or mockups to validate design concepts and make
• necessary adjustments.
• Evaluate the functionality and ergonomics of furniture prototypes.

Project Management

• Manage multiple custom furniture projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and
• budgets.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure designs are accurately manufactured.
• Communicate progress and project updates to clients, sales representatives, Senior ID and production teams.

Quality Control and Supervision

• Conduct quality checks and inspections at various stages of production to ensure that
• furniture pieces meet design specifications and quality standards.

Client Interaction

• Maintain open communication with clients throughout the design and production phases, addressing design modifications and feedback.

Innovation and Trends

• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and design innovations to bring fresh ideas to custom furniture projects.
