Interior Designer

The Designer / Creative Assistant for Home Decor will support the Design Team in developing new concepts and assisting in the overall creative process. This role ensures smooth coordination from concept development to sample production while providing creative and organizational support across various design projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation and development of new home decor designs, from concept to prototype.
• Support in the selection of materials, fabrics, and finishes under the guidance of the Creative Supervisor.
• Conduct local and global trend research and help develop mood boards, seasonal themes, and color palettes.
• Prepare visual presentations, line sheets, and sample collections for internal reviews and buyer presentations.
• Coordinate with the Merchandising Team for product development and style finalization based on feedback and approvals.
• Assist in creating basic technical drawings and specification sheets (tech packs) for suppliers and production teams.
• Monitor sample development and participate in product reviews, providing input aligned with design direction.
• Maintain and organize creative files, material swatches, and product references.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Interior Design, Fine Arts, Fashion Design, or any related field (preferred but not required).
• Creative mindset with an eye for design, color, and home styling trends.
• Basic knowledge of design tools such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced creative environment.
