Insurance Sales Representative

Job Overview

An Insurance Sales Agent is responsible for promoting and selling insurance products (such as life, health, or general insurance) to clients. This role is primarily commission-based.You will act as both sales professionals and financial advisors, helping clients protect their finances while earning through performance-driven incentives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales & Client Acquisition

• Identify and contact potential clients through networking, referrals, and cold calling
• Build and maintain a pipeline of prospects
• Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets

2. Financial Needs Assessment

• Analyze clients’ financial situations and insurance needs
• Recommend suitable insurance products (e.g., life insurance, savings plans)

3. Product Presentation & Closing

• Explain policy features, benefits, and coverage options
• Customize insurance plans based on client goals and budget
• Close sales and process applications

4. Client Relationship Management

• Maintain long-term relationships with clients
• Assist with policy updates, renewals, and claims
• Provide ongoing financial guidance

5. Administrative & Compliance Tasks

• Maintain accurate client records and documentation
• Ensure compliance with licensing and regulatory requirements
