• Install, route, terminate, and secure fiber optic (FTTH), UTP, CAT6, and coaxial cables — indoor, outdoor, aerial, and underground
• Mount and configure internet equipment: modems, routers, ONU/ONT, switches, access points, and Wi-Fi devices
• Set up network settings: PPPoE, SSID, passwords, and basic security configurations
• Perform signal testing, speed tests, and quality checks to ensure stable, high-speed connection
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair line faults, signal loss, slow speeds, and hardware issues
• Climb utility poles, rooftops, and work at heights; use proper safety gear and tools
• Maintain accurate work orders, reports, and inventory records
• Provide professional customer service; explain usage and basic troubleshooting to clients
• Follow all safety standards, company guidelines, and telecom installation regulations

SKILLS REQUIRED

Technical Skills

• Skilled in cable pulling, crimping, termination, and fiber splicing
• Knowledgeable in network basics: LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, IP addressing, and Wi-Fi standards
• Can configure and set up modems, routers, ONUs, and other network devices
• Proficient in using test tools: OTDR, optical power meter, multimeter, cable tester, speed test apps
• Experienced in troubleshooting connection problems, signal issues, and line faults
• Familiar with safety procedures for pole climbing, heights, and outdoor work

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School / Senior High School graduate; Technical / Electronics / IT course is an advantage
• Experience in telecom, broadband, or electrical installation is preferred — fresh graduates with technical background are welcome
• Valid driver’s license (Restriction 1 / 2) and own motorcycle is a big advantage
• Willing to do field work, outdoor projects, and work at heights
• Hardworking, responsible, and can work with minimal supervision
