Process Design and Optimization:

• Analyze existing systems and workflows to identify inefficiencies or areas for improvement.
• Design, develop, and implement new systems and processes that optimize productivity, reduce waste, and improve resource allocation.
• Use time and motion studies, work sampling, and process simulation to assess and refine processes.

Efficiency and Cost Reduction:

• Apply engineering principles to streamline operations and reduce operational costs while maintaining high quality.
• Identify and implement cost-saving measures and ensure effective use of materials, labor, and machinery.
• Lead initiatives such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Total Quality Management (TQM) to drive continuous improvement across processes.

Supply Chain and Logistics Management:

• Analyze supply chain activities and optimize the flow of materials and goods.
• Work with procurement, logistics, and production teams to optimize inventory management and distribution strategies.
• Develop strategies for improving lead times, reducing bottlenecks, and enhancing the overall supply chain performance.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to production, inventory, and operational performance.
• Use statistical tools, data modeling, and software (such as ERP or simulation tools) to make data-driven decisions.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management, recommending process changes or improvements.

Quality Control and Standardization:

• Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices to ensure consistent quality across processes.
• Monitor and evaluate product quality and implement improvements to meet or exceed industry standards.
• Participate in root cause analysis of defects or inefficiencies and develop corrective actions.

Project Management:

• Lead or support cross-functional projects aimed at improving operations, quality, or reducing costs.
• Work with other departments (such as production, design, and maintenance) to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Ensure projects are completed within scope, on time, and within budget.

Ergonomics and Workplace Safety:

• Conduct ergonomics assessments to improve the physical layout of workstations and reduce worker fatigue and injury.
• Ensure workplace safety protocols and regulations are followed and recommend improvements to safety processes.

Collaboration and Training:

• Work closely with other engineering teams, management, and production staff to implement improvements.
• Train employees on new processes, technologies, and safety standards.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork across departments.

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Research, or a related field.
• Proven experience in industrial engineering, operations management, or process improvement.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis, statistical methods, and process optimization tools.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in using engineering and simulation software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or ERP systems).
• Strong problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
