Description

We are a well-established signage company specializing in custom signage design, installation, and maintenance for the different industries, now transitioning toward broader general contracting services. We are looking for a creative and technically skilled Industrial Design Specialist to join our team.

Design and Development: Conceptualize and design innovative signage, booths/kiosks, etc. solutions, incorporating functional and aesthetic aspects that align with client specifications and industry standards.
Material Expertise: Select appropriate materials for durability and visual impact, ensuring designs meet production feasibility and budget constraints.
Technical Drawing: Create detailed technical drawings and 3D models for signage fabrication, using design software (AutoCAD, Rhino, or similar) and ensuring precision in dimensions and specifications.
Prototyping and Testing: Develop prototypes to test design concepts and collaborate with the production team to refine designs based on feedback and technical constraints.
Client Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and account management teams to understand client needs, ensuring designs fulfill aesthetic and functional requirements.
Project Coordination: Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including production, printing, and installation, to oversee project timelines and quality standards.
Innovation and Trends: Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and sustainable practices to propose new ideas and maintain a competitive edge in signage design.

Requirements

Bachelor’s/College Degree in Fine Arts, majoring in Industrial Design, or a related field.
Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, or similar).
Knowledge of materials and fabrication techniques relevant to signage and industrial design.
Experience in signage or related industries preferred, with a strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual and technical design skills.
Excellent visual, spatial, and problem-solving abilities, with an eye for detail.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for client-facing interactions and team collaboration.
A creative, proactive approach, with a passion for design and continuous improvement.
