What you'll be doing

• Install, maintain and repair a variety of HVAC equipment, including air conditioning units, furnaces, ventilation systems and related components
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues to identify and resolve problems efficiently
• Perform scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance to keep systems running smoothly
• Liaise with clients and managers to understand their needs and provide recommendations
• Ensure all HVAC work meets relevant safety and building code standards
• Maintain detailed records of all HVAC work completed
• Support special projects and other duties as required

What we're looking for

• At least 3 years' experience as an HVAC technician or in a similar role
• Trade certification or diploma in HVAC or a related field
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, components and troubleshooting
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and manuals
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Committed to safety and maintaining a clean, organised work environment
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
