HVAC Engineer (HVAC Installation experience)

Position Title: HVAC Engineer – Installation

Reports To: Project Manager / Engineering Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer with strong expertise in installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The candidate will oversee HVAC installation activities, ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines, while coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, review, and interpret HVAC system drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
• Supervise installation of HVAC equipment including:
• Air Handling Units (AHU)
• Chillers
• Ducting systems
• VRF/VRV systems
• Split-type and package units
• Ventilation and exhaust systems
• Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and technicians during installation.
• Ensure installations comply with project requirements, local codes, and safety regulations.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor work progress.
• Prepare material take-offs, BOQ (Bill of Quantities), and procurement requirements.
• Perform testing, balancing, and commissioning of HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot installation issues and provide engineering solutions.
• Maintain project documentation including reports, as-built drawings, and installation records.
• Support project scheduling, cost control, and resource planning.
• Ensure quality assurance and adherence to HSE standards.
• Participate in client meetings and provide technical support during project execution.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline. Mechanical Engineering
• Licensed Mechanical Engineer (preferred, depending on country regulations).
• 3–8+ years of experience in HVAC installation, construction, or MEP projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, duct design, piping, and refrigeration principles.
