An HR DOLE Compliance officer ensures company adherence to Philippine labor laws, specifically focusing on Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) regulations, to avoid penalties. Key responsibilities include maintaining proper payroll records, employment contracts, and occupational safety standards, while representing the company during inspections or labor disputes.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Compliance Monitoring: Ensuring strict adherence to labor laws, including minimum wage, holiday pay, 13th-month pay, and leave benefits.
  • DOLE Inspection Readiness: Maintaining, organizing, and presenting records (payroll, time records, contracts) during announced or unannounced DOLE visits.
  • Safety Standards (OSH): Implementing and monitoring compliance with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Preparing and filing required reports to government agencies, including SSS, PhilHealth, and Pag-IBIG.
  • Labor Relations: Handling employee cases, disciplinary actions, and mediating disputes to ensure fair practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Legal Management, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine labor codes and DOLE regulations.
  • Experience with COSH (Construction Occupational Safety and Health) certification is often required for specific industries.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
