Housekeeper

Job Responsibilities

• Perform daily household cleaning, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, kitchen, bedrooms, and common areas.
• Keep the home clean, tidy, organized, and comfortable on a daily basis.
• Wash, dry, fold, and organize clothes and other household laundry.
• Clean the kitchen, wash dishes, and keep kitchen equipment and utensils clean and organized.
• Prepare and cook daily meals for the household.
• Prepare ingredients, including washing and cutting vegetables, meat, and other food items.
• Chinese home cooking experience is preferred. If you do not have experience with Chinese cooking, you should be willing to learn and follow recipes or cooking instructions.
• Assist with grocery shopping and purchasing household supplies when needed.
• Receive and organize groceries, parcels, deliveries, and other household items.
• Assist with simple daily errands and household matters.
• Communicate in English with property management, couriers, delivery riders, maintenance workers, service providers, shops, and other people when necessary.
• Make or answer simple phone calls and messages related to household matters when requested.
• Use smartphone apps for messaging, navigation, shopping, delivery, and other basic daily tasks.
• Monitor basic household supplies and inform the employer when items need to be purchased or replenished.
• Follow the household's daily routines and complete assigned tasks independently and on time.
• Report household problems, maintenance issues, delivery problems, or other important matters to the employer promptly.
• Perform other reasonable household and personal-assistance duties as needed.

Requirements

• Good English communication skills, including basic phone communication.
• Honest, responsible, reliable, hardworking, and organized.
• Good personal hygiene and cleanliness.
• Able to cook basic daily meals; Chinese cooking experience is an advantage.
• Willing to learn Chinese home-style cooking.
• Able to use a smartphone and common mobile apps.
• Able to work independently and manage daily tasks properly.
• Previous Housekeeper, Household Helper, Personal Assistant, hotel, or service experience is preferred but not required.
• Willing to work long-term.
• Valid ID, NBI Clearance, and Medical/Fit-to-Work Certificate are required before employment.
• Previous employer references are an advantage.
