Domestic Maid Duties and Responsibilities

Domestic Maids are primarily responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of a household, but their tasks may also extend to cooking, grocery shopping, and basic household management.

Their duties and responsibilities include:

• Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
• Wash dishes and kitchen utensils, and clean kitchen and dining areas
• Laundry duties including washing, ironing, and folding clothes
• Change and launder bed linens
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms and other common areas
• Assist in meal preparation and cooking if required
• Perform grocery shopping and run errands as needed
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and inform employers when supplies are needed
• Take care of pets by feeding them and taking them for walks if necessary
• Dispose of trash and recycling in a timely and proper manner
• Report any damages or repairs needed in the household
• Ensure the safety of the household by securing doors and windows
