- Operate heavy equipment (e.g., excavators, bulldozers, graders, cranes, loaders, backhoes, dump trucks) to support construction and earthmoving tasks.
- Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and grade specifications.
- Perform pre-operation checks and routine maintenance (fueling, lubrication, safety inspections).
- Monitor equipment performance and report mechanical issues for repair.
- Ensure safe operation in compliance with site safety rules and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with ground crew, site engineers, and supervisors to complete assigned tasks.
- Excavate, grade, lift, and transport materials according to project needs.
- Maintain accurate logs of operating hours, fuel consumption, and work completed.
- Assist in site preparation, trenching, backfilling, roadworks, and demolition activities.
- Follow signals, directions, and safety protocols to prevent accidents and equipment damage.
