Responsible for evaluating and testing mobile camera performance and imaging quality in local scenarios. The role involves conducting functional tests, identifying issues, analyzing imaging results, and preparing reports to support product optimization and localization improvements.

Core Responsibilities

• Execute functional test cases and test plans for different mobile devices and camera applications.
• Evaluate camera performance and imaging quality, including startup speed, preview smoothness, photo saving time, continuous shooting stability, beauty effects, low-light performance, portrait mode, filters, and other camera-related features.
• Conduct testing in different local scenarios such as outdoor lighting, low-light environments, selfies, and social-media-related photography usage.
• Submit issues and bugs with complete test artifacts such as logs, screenshots, photos, and videos using the company’s bug tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams in troubleshooting and resolving issues found during testing.
• Analyze local user preferences and imaging trends related to mobile photography and social media usage.
• Prepare and submit evaluation reports, test findings, and improvement recommendations.
• Report directly to the Test Supervisor, Team Leader, or Test Manager regarding assigned testing tasks and project status.

Qualifications

• Passionate about photography, mobile cameras, and image quality evaluation.
• Familiar with basic photography and imaging concepts such as HDR, ISO, white balance, portrait mode, dynamic range, and low-light photography.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify image quality differences and issues.
• Good analytical and reporting skills.
• Able to work independently and conduct field testing activities when required.
• Good English communication skills.

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• Experience in mobile device testing, QA testing, or camera evaluation.
• Familiar with Jira or other bug tracking tools.
• Experience using flashing tools or IMEI writing tools.
• Familiar with Transsion brands (TECNO, Infinix, Itel).
• Background or strong interest in photography, content creation, or mobile imaging.
