A Barber is responsible for cutting, styling, and grooming clients’ hair and facial hair. They consult with clients to understand their preferences, recommend suitable styles, and deliver high-quality grooming services in a safe and hygienic environment.

Responsibilities

• Hair cutting & styling using scissors, clippers, and razors.
• Beard trimming & shaving, including shaping mustaches and facial hair.
• Client consultation to understand desired styles and provide recommendations.
• Hair treatments such as shampooing, conditioning, coloring, or hot towel shaves.
• Scalp & neck massages to enhance client relaxation.
• Sanitation & hygiene — sterilizing tools, cleaning workstations, and sweeping floors.
• Customer service — maintaining a welcoming atmosphere and building client relationships.
• Retail advising — recommending grooming products and treatments.
• Administrative tasks — scheduling appointments, processing payments, and keeping client records.
