I. Job Summary

A graphic artist is a creative professional who employs visual and artistic abilities to convey ideas and messages across different mediums, including both print and digital formats. They collaborate with clients or teams to formulate concepts, design layouts, and create visuals for a variety of objectives, such as marketing, branding, websites, and publications.

II. Statement of Duties and Responsibilities

1. Developing visual concepts and layouts for a variety of projects, including advertisements,

brochures, websites, logos, and packaging materials.

2. Working closely with clients to grasp their needs, preferences, and project specifications.

3. Generating and refining creative ideas that effectively convey the intended message.

4. Utilizing design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), to bring designs to life.

5. Choosing suitable fonts, colors, images, and other visual elements to produce appealing and effective designs.

6. Collaborating with marketing teams and clients to ensure designs are cohesive and impactful.

7. Overseeing design projects from start to finish, including meeting deadlines and staying within budget.

8. Reviewing designs for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with brand standards.

9. Staying updated with the latest trends, software, and technologies in design.

10. Presenting design ideas to clients or stakeholders and collecting their feedback.

11. Identifying and addressing design challenges.

12. Creating original designs while demonstrating a solid understanding of design principles.

13. Perform other related duties that may be assigned from time to time by his / her immediate.

III. Qualifications

1. A bachelor's degree in graphic design, fine arts, or a related field is often preferred.

2. Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work is essential.

3. Minimum of 3 years graphic design experience in a service-oriented company.

4. Strong oral and written communications skills.
