Graphic Artist

Graphic Artist is responsible for translating marketing strategies and creative briefs into high-impact visual concepts. The primary goal is to design compelling advertisements—across digital, print, and social platforms—that capture audience attention, communicate brand messaging effectively, and drive consumer engagement or conversion. 

Responsibilities

Conceptual Collaboration 

• Partner with Copywriters and Art Directors to brainstorm and develop "big idea" concepts for new client pitches and active campaigns. 

Brand Alignment 

• Study and apply client brand guidelines to ensure all visual outputs are consistent in tone, color, typography, and style. 

Production Management 

• Prepare final, press-ready files for print and optimized assets for digital developers, ensuring technical specifications are met. 

Interactive Design 

• Present drafts to internal teams and clients, incorporating feedback through multiple rounds of revisions while meeting tight deadlines. 

Essential Skills 

• Advanced proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) is mandatory. 
• Strong command of typography, layout hierarchy, color theory, and composition. 
• Ability to design with the "call to action" in mind, understanding how visuals influence. 
• Capacity to switch between different brand aesthetics and industries (e.g., tech, retail, healthcare) seamlessly. 
• Clear verbal and visual communication skills to explain design choices to non-creative or client. 

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Advertising, or a related field.
• At least three to four (3–4) years of professional design experience, preferably within an advertising agency or fast-paced creative environment.
• A professional portfolio demonstrating a range of styles, creative problem-solving, and successful commercial projects.
• Willingness to work on-site if needed.
• Familiarity with digital design trends, UI/UX principles, and basic motion graphics (After Effects) is a significant plus.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under high-pressure deadlines.
• Proven experience working within the retail, beauty, and/or fashion industries
• Strong understanding of brand execution, campaign development, and retail marketing materials
• Ability to create and develop design concepts from scratch, translating briefs into compelling visual solutions
• Strong conceptualization and creative thinking skills, with the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to clearly articulate design rationale and present creative concepts confidently to stakeholders and team members
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and deliver designs that align with client requirements and industry standards
