Summary Responsibilities:

The position will be responsible for translating and transferring of ideas/concepts/designs into garments for production purposes.

Basic Tasks:

Ø  Garment Technology: basic fiber and textile properties; basic garment construction and patterns; fashion illustration and design.

Ø  Contribute knowledge/recommendations for graphic design and production schedule and budget for client development planning

Ø  Manage and maintain all graphics-related files, such as images, infographics, etc. for transmittal and production

Ø  Create the design for the cut and sew category, including constructing the garment, determining new fits and incorporating branding details

Ø  Mock-up the graphics, including printing out works to different scales, selecting one work and taping it onto the design

Ø  Post launch, review and comment on strike-offs, ensuring design intent is met with regards to technique, color and placement; communicate modifications needed for Production.

Ø  Familiarity with the brands and its target market

Ø  Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned
