I. JOB TITLE: Senior Full Stack Developer/Engineer (GoLang/JS)

II. ENGAGEMENT TYPE: Independent Contractor (Fixed-Term Project)

III. DURATION: 3-6 months with possibility of extension or renewal up to 1 year.

IV. WORK SETUP: Fully remote work

V. NATIONALITY: Candidates that have full Philippines working rights

VI. WORK SCHEDULE: Regular Work Hours and Work Days

VII. SERVICE FEE: Php 90,000.00 to Php 110,000.00

VIII. JOB SUMMARY:

The position requires extensive experience in the analysis, design, and development of software projects, working back-end to deliver business requirements by developing applications and solutions in close collaboration with a Scrum team.

IX. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Design and develop applications using GO language and other frameworks
• Develops software components according to specifications received and established standards
• Understand end-user needs and suggest/improve our UI/UX
• Analyze and resolve technical and application problems
• Assess opportunities for application and process improvement and share with team members and stakeholders
• Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on time and budget
• Cover your code with test when possible; maintain what you’ve built
• Participate in on-call roster/Scrum events

JOB QUALIFICATIONS 

Education: 

• A Bachelor’s Degree in any IT-related course

Experience: 

• Ideal Candidate: Has 6+ years of professional experience developing applications using GoLang in a backend or full-stack development capacity.
• Potential Candidate: Has at least 3 years of recent professional GoLang experience, provided that:
• They have 6+ years of total professional experience as a Backend Developer or Full Stack Developer; and
• Their most recent 3 years of work experience primarily involved GoLang development.
• Preferably with ecommerce experience

Technical Skills: 

• Proficient in GoLang, GORM, MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL, Redis
• Has worked with Unix/Linux Environments, CI/CD Jenkins
• Analytical and Solution Oriented
• Preferably with knowledge in Micro Services, Lambda, SQS, RabbitMQ, RESTful API
• Knowledge in AWS, Kubernetes, Docker Shell scripts is a plus

Soft Skills: 

• Self-starter, can work independently
• Can work under pressure
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize them and meet deadlines
• Team spirit and enthusiasm about learning
