Job Summary:

The Surveyor is responsible for measuring and mapping land, ensuring accurate boundaries for construction,development, and legal purposes. He/She use specialized equipment, GPS technology, and software to collect data and create detailed maps and reports.

The position holder shall under take the following functions: 

1.   Conduct land surveys to establish property boundaries and topographic details.

2.    Uses GPS, total stations, and other surveying tools to collect accurate data.

3.  Ensure survey data are reflected in the as-built plans through regular coordination with the assigned CAD operators on site.

4.  Collaborate with engineers, architects, and developers for construction and land use planning.

5.Conduct surveys to determine exact positions, measurement of points, elevations, lines, areas, volumes, contours or other of land surfaces.

6.  Verify historical records and compare them with current survey data.

7.  Prepare progress or technical reports.

8.  Collect, analyze and interpret geographic information.

9.Prepare survey data and survey sheet elevation

10.Verify mathematical accuracy of collected survey data

11.Perform other related tasks that may be assigned.

JOB SPECIFICATION:

Education

Bachelor Degree in Geodetic Engineering with related experience

Experience

Experience in handling construction projects specializing in Civil/Construction/Structural engineering is preferred.

Experience with surveying equipment and software (Computer Aided Design (CAD) software, Surveying software.
