Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance or a related discipline
• CPA is an advantage
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in core accounting and financial reporting; prior exposure to the shipping industry is a plus but not essential
• Strong expertise in preparing Financial Statements, Cash Flow Reports, and Budget vs. Actual analyses
• Proficient in ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or similar platforms
• Hands-on experience with digital accounting solutions, including automation tools, invoicing workflows, and data visualization platforms like Power BI and Tableau
• Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English
• Amenable to working onsite in Pasay City everyday.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting for a portfolio of vessels, including fund requests, vendor invoice checks, portage bill reviews, and month-end adjustments
• Prepare and deliver vessel financial reports, cash flow statements, and budget variance analyses; perform reconciliations of balance sheet and fund accounts
• Ensure timely submission of finalized reports to ship owners and respond promptly to queries from Technical teams and stakeholders
• Support monthly management reporting activities (e.g., reports to MD, budget variance reports) in collaboration with the reporting manager
• Maintain effective communication with clients and stakeholders, ensuring compliance and accuracy in reporting
• Contribute solutions and recommendations to Finance Managers to meet organizational goals
• Handle ad-hoc reporting tasks as assigned
