Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to oversee and manage the company's accounting operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling the full accounting cycle, ensuring compliance with Philippine accounting standards and BIR regulations, preparing accurate financial reports, and managing billing, collections, taxation, and general accounting functions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end accounting process, including recording, monitoring, and reconciliation of financial transactions.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and supporting schedules.
  • Handle general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Prepare and record journal entries, adjusting entries, accruals, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
  • Oversee billing and collection processes to ensure timely invoicing and efficient collection of receivables.
  • Prepare, review, and file all required tax returns and ensure compliance with BIR regulations, including VAT, withholding taxes, expanded withholding taxes, income tax, and other statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and other government agencies regarding tax compliance, audits, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure timely submission of mandatory government reports and compliance with accounting and tax deadlines.
  • Monitor cash flow and assist management in financial planning and budgeting.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure proper documentation of financial transactions.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and management reports.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required schedules and documentation.
  • Recommend improvements to accounting processes and internal controls.
  • Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned by management.


Qualifications

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a valid PRC license.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.
  • At least 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of General Accounting and End-to-End Accounting processes.
  • Proven experience in Billing and Collections.
  • Extensive knowledge of Philippine taxation, including BIR rules and regulations, tax preparation, filing, and compliance.
  • Proficient in preparing journal entries, financial statements, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing.
  • Experience in handling BIR transactions, tax audits, and statutory compliance.
  • Strong understanding of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and accounting principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
