Accounting Professional

Responsibilities:

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting professional with strong experience in Bookkeeping, Tax Compliance, and BIR Report Filings. The ideal candidate should be able to work with minimal supervision and training. He/She should immediately contribute to day-to-day accounting operations.

Responsibilities:

• Handle bookkeeping for payables, petty cash, operational expenses, fixed assets, VAT, withholding taxes, and other accounting entries.
• Verify accuracy of invoices and accounting documents/records.
• Update, maintain, and reconcile accounting journals and ledgers.
• Prepare and file BIR reports and tax payments including VAT, Withholding Tax, and Income Tax.
• Encode and manage data using SEC and BIR online filing systems, SAP Business One, Crystal Reports, Excel, and Google Sheets.
• Compile accounting data and prepare reports as needed.

Qualifications:

• With at least 5 years work experience in an Accounting and Tax Reporting Role.
• Fully Vaccinated and in good physical health.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or tax reporting.
• Strong understanding of accounting and bookkeeping concepts including:
• Profit & Loss Statements
• Chart of Accounts
• Disbursements
• General Ledger entries
• Experience in BIR compliance and online tax filings is required.
• Proficient in Excel and computer-based accounting systems.
• Organized, meticulous, dependable, and hardworking.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Can start immediately with minimal training.
