About the role

Join the Interfreight Group team as a Declarant in our Paranaque City Metro Manila office. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the preparation and submission of accurate customs declarations, ensuring the efficient movement of freight and cargo. Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting our client's logistics operations and contribute to the overall success of the Interfreight Group.

What you'll be doing

• Ensure the completeness and proper review of shipment documentation & declaration
• Customs Processing & Clearance
• Valuation, classification & Tariff Application
• Communication & Coordination with Customs Brokers, Officers, Operations, Finance, Sales teams, and Clients and Principals
• Record keeping & Audit Support
• Risk management & Issue resolution
• Process improvement & reporting
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate superior

What we're looking for

1. Graduate of Customs Administration (Licensed Customs Broker is a plus)
2. Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar declarant or customs clearance role within the freight/cargo forwarding industry
3. Responsible for accuracy, truthfulness, and completeness of all customs declarations filed under their name or accreditation
4. Business operations, problem-solving, decision-making, managerial, communication and interpersonal, computer literate
