- Monitor all pre-alerts and respond to emails from overseas agents to acknowledge receipt.
- Ensure that all import pre-alert documents are supported by an approved quotation.
- Verify that all import shipments are assigned project numbers and accurately encoded in SWIVEL.
- Monitor shipment arrivals and ensure the timely forwarding of import documents to the Manifest Specialist for manifest lodgment.
- Assign shipments to accredited subcontracted customs brokers in accordance with approved policies or as directed by the immediate superior.
- Ensure that all pre-alert documents are sent to the concerned MIFFI Branch Office, nominated broker, and consignee prior to vessel arrival.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the immediate superior, Department Head, or Management.
