- Operate forklift equipment (sit-down, stand-up, counterbalance, reach trucks, etc.) safely and efficiently to move goods to and from storage, production, loading docks, and shipping / receiving areas.
- Stage, stack, and organize materials and products according to layout, SKU, priority, or production schedule.
- Put-away inbound shipments: move products to correct storage locations.
- Pick / order‑fill outbound orders as required.
- Inspect loads and packaging; report any damages or inconsistencies.
- Perform basic maintenance and daily checks on forklifts (fluid levels, brakes, tires, forks, alarms, etc.); report any malfunctions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas; ensure aisles are clear and safe.
- Follow safety procedures and standards: wear protective gear, adhere to speed limits, follow safe stacking rules.
- Collaborate with other departments (shipping, receiving, production, quality) to coordinate material flow.
