II. QUALIFICATIONS

CSC Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job

Work Experience: Three (3) years relevant experience

Training: Sixteen (16) hours relevant training

Eligibility: Career Service (Professional) Second Level Eligibility or equivalent RA 1080

Additional qualifications/competencies: With knowledge and supervisory experience in project management in the field of Forestry, Environmental Science and natural resources is an advantage. Well-versed in the rubber and other forestry-related industries and possesses comprehensive knowledge of climate change issues and active involvement in climate change technical working groups/organization/committees. Established linkages with industry and R&D partners.

III. JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Lead the division’s program monitoring and evaluation/program-based information system section (PME/PBISS);

2. Lead in the planning, evaluation and monitoring of forestry and environment R&D programs and projects particularly in relation to ISPs assigned;

3. Lead in the collection of data and assistance in the analysis and synthesis of forestry and environment R&D programs/projects and policies;

4. Lead in the coordination of collaborative R&D activities in forestry and environment related industry;

5. Lead in the coordination of project development and proposal packaging of forestry and environment R&D programs and projects;

6. Performs other tasks and duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
