• Adhere to the company's quality management system, policies, and procedures. Research, develop, and improve products, including evaluating alternative materials, packaging, and processes.

• Plan and conduct lab-scale tests, production trials, and shelf-life studies; set product specifications and parameters.

• Provide cost-saving recommendations through ingredient and packaging optimization.

• Collaborate with production, engineering, purchasing, QA, suppliers, and other teams to ensure compatibility and quality.

• Analyze test results, address non-conformances, and recommend solutions.

• Support HACCP plan development and ensure accurate records and documentation.

Conduct sensory evaluations, present new product concepts, and assist in prioritizing and tracking R&D activities.

Manage and monitor R&D samples, materials, and equipment.

• Updates the commercialization checklist.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in food product development, food manufacturing, or research and development.
• Knowledge of food processing, food safety systems, HACCP, GMP, and quality management principles.
• Experience in product formulation, shelf-life studies, sensory evaluation, and production trials.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
