Job Description
- Conducts laboratory scale production as part of experimental study.
- Conducts continuous product shelf-life study to set maximum shelf-life declaration.
- Conducts sensory evaluation of developed products for approval, existing expired products that passed micro-analysis to verify if still okay for house sale.
- Evaluates samples submitted by supplier for possible alternative source of material/ingredients.
- Conducts actual stacking height testing of incoming new corrugated box for possible alternative supplier.
- Assists Assistant R&D Manager in conducting experiments.
- BS Food Technology/Nutrition or any related course
- 2-4 years experience in product research and development
- Food safety and health standard
- Knowledgeable on industry’s GMP/HACCP and FSSC standards and requirements
- Knowledge in Commissioning or Product trial run
- Knowledge in Statutory and Regulatory requirements
