Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Food & Beverage Manager with strong expertise in wine service, wine program development, and overall restaurant or hotel F&B operations. The ideal candidate will lead all aspects of food and beverage service, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, strong financial performance, and a well-curated wine program aligned with the establishment’s brand and clientele.

Key Responsibilities

1. F&B Operations Management

• Oversee daily operations of all food and beverage outlets (restaurant, bar, room service, events, etc.)
• Ensure consistent service quality, operational efficiency, and guest satisfaction
• Develop and implement SOPs for service, hygiene, and safety standards
• Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth operations

2. Wine Program Management (Core Focus)

• Design, manage, and continuously improve the wine list in alignment with cuisine and concept
• Source wines from local and international suppliers, negotiating pricing and supply terms
• Conduct regular wine inventory management and cost control
• Train staff on wine knowledge, tasting notes, service techniques, and wine pairing
• Lead wine tastings, events, and promotional programs to enhance guest engagement
• Stay updated on global wine trends, regions, and vintages

3. Team Leadership & Training

• Recruit, train, and supervise F&B staff, including servers, bartenders, and supervisors
• Conduct regular training sessions on service standards and wine knowledge
• Foster a positive, professional, and high-performance team culture
• Schedule staff efficiently based on business needs

4. Financial & Business Performance

• Prepare and manage budgets, cost controls, and revenue targets
• Monitor beverage cost percentages and optimize profitability
• Analyze sales reports and implement strategies to improve revenue
• Manage vendor relationships and procurement processes

5. Guest Experience & Quality Control

• Ensure exceptional guest service and handle escalated customer concerns
• Maintain high standards of presentation, ambiance, and service delivery
• Gather and respond to guest feedback to improve service quality

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or related field (preferred)
• 3-5+ years of experience in F&B management, preferably in hotels, fine dining, or upscale restaurants
• Strong expertise in wine service, wine regions, varietals, and food pairing
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and cost controls
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment
