ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR

The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for supervising the accounting team, managing financial processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies. This role supports accurate financial reporting and helps maintain efficient accounting operations.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3–7 years of accounting experience (with supervisory experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Excel
• CPA or CMA certification (preferred but not always required)

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the accounting staff
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reports
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable functions
• Prepare financial statements and management reports
• Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and internal policies
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Support audits by preparing schedules and documentatIon
• Identify and implement process improvements
• Train, mentor, and evaluate accounting team members
