1. Accounting Oversight

• Supervise daily accounting operations, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and adjusting entries.
• Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with PFRS and internal quality standards.
• Monitor accuracy of general ledger and supporting schedules.
• Ensure completeness of client records prior to reporting and audit.

2. Tax Compliance Management

• Review preparation of tax returns (VAT, Percentage Tax, EWT, FWT, Income Tax, DST).
• Ensure accurate and timely filing with the BIR and other agencies.
• Handle tax assessments, audits, and responses to BIR notices (LOA, PAN, FAN).
• Monitor tax law updates and ensure implementation across engagements.
• Provide technical tax guidance to team and clients.

3. Team Supervision & Development

• Supervise and review work of Accounting,Tax and Audit Associates.
• Provide coaching, training, and technical support.
• Ensure workload is properly allocated and deadlines are met.
• Maintain quality control over deliverables before partner review.

4. Client Engagement Management

• Serve as primary contact for assigned clients on operational matters.
• Ensure smooth coordination of requirements and submissions.
• Manage multiple engagements simultaneously within deadlines.
• Escalate complex issues to Manager when necessary.

5. Regulatory & Statutory Compliance

• Oversee preparation of SEC, AFS, GIS, and LGU compliance requirements.
• Ensure documents are audit-ready and properly archived.
• Maintain compliance tracker for all assigned clients.

6. Process Improvement & Internal Controls

• Recommend workflow improvements and automation opportunities.
• Strengthen review procedures to minimize errors and penalties.
• Assist in developing standard templates and compliance checklists.
