Web3 Finance Manager

About the Position

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our Web3 investment and blockchain development team at SBI Investment.

The role focuses on managing financial operations, budgeting, financial analysis, investment reporting, risk assessment, and financial planning within the Web3 and digital-asset sectors.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of financial management, investment analysis, digital assets, and blockchain-related business models, along with excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the company’s financial operations, accounting processes, and financial reporting.
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, financial plans, and cash-flow projections.
• Monitor financial performance and prepare regular financial reports for management and investment teams.
• Conduct financial analysis to evaluate business performance, profitability, operating costs, and investment opportunities.
• Research and analyze the financial aspects of Web3 projects, blockchain startups, protocols, and digital-asset businesses.
• Support the financial evaluation of potential investments, partnerships, and strategic business opportunities.
• Analyze project revenue models, tokenomics, fundraising structures, and financial sustainability.
• Assist with investment due diligence by reviewing financial statements, financial models, business plans, and relevant documentation.
• Develop and maintain financial models for investment analysis, forecasting, valuation, and scenario planning.
• Monitor cash flow, liquidity, expenses, and financial risks across business operations and investment projects.
• Track and analyze digital-asset transactions, investment performance, and portfolio-related financial data.
• Support the preparation of investment reports, financial presentations, and management dashboards.
• Identify potential financial risks and recommend strategies to improve financial efficiency and risk management.
• Collaborate with investment, research, business development, legal, compliance, and technical teams on strategic initiatives.
• Monitor market trends, macroeconomic developments, and regulatory changes that may affect the Web3 and digital-asset sectors.
• Support financial planning and reporting for new products, investment initiatives, and blockchain-related projects.
• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality of financial information and documentation.
• Maintain organized records of financial activities, investment transactions, and project-related expenses.

Requirements

• Professional experience in finance, financial management, investment analysis, corporate finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and financial analysis.
• Knowledge of investment evaluation, financial modelling, valuation methods, and risk assessment.
• Strong understanding of Web3, blockchain technology, and the digital-asset industry.
• Familiarity with DeFi, NFT, GameFi, Layer 2, blockchain infrastructure, and Web3 business models.
• Ability to analyze financial statements, business models, cash flow, revenue structures, and operating costs.
• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Ability to conduct quantitative analysis and prepare clear financial reports and presentations.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and the ability to manage sensitive financial information.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Familiarity with financial management software, analytics tools, and reporting platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in Web3, blockchain, digital assets, cryptocurrency, fintech, or venture capital.
• Experience working with investment funds, financial institutions, venture capital firms, or blockchain-focused companies.
• Experience evaluating investment opportunities and supporting financial due diligence processes.
• Familiarity with tokenomics, token valuation, fundraising, token generation events, and project financing.
• Understanding of digital-asset portfolio management and investment performance analysis.
• Experience building financial models for startups, investment projects, or technology companies.
• Knowledge of DeFi protocols, token economics, staking, liquidity pools, and blockchain-based financial products.
• Familiarity with blockchain explorers, digital-asset analytics platforms, and crypto portfolio management tools.
• Experience with financial reporting, management accounting, and financial planning for international businesses.
• Understanding of financial compliance, transaction monitoring, and risk management in the digital-asset industry.
• Experience working with international teams and cross-border financial operations.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, accounting software, CRM platforms, and business intelligence tools.
• Additional language skills, especially Chinese, Japanese, or Korean, will be an advantage.
