Role Purpose

The Finance Manager owns the day-to-day financial operations of GMS. You are responsible for accounting, treasury, tax compliance, statutory obligations, and management reporting. You report into the Senior Finance Manager and work closely with GMS operations to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and commercial visibility.

Qualifications:

• CPA qualification required.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a management role.
• Proven experience in BIR compliance and Philippine statutory obligations.
• Prior exposure to intercompany accounting with a foreign parent entity is a strong advantage.
• Experience in a BPO, shared services, or captive environment preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of FX management (AUD-PHP preferred).
• Proficient in accounting systems (Xero, NetSuite, or equivalent).

Responsibilities:

1. Controllership & Financial Operations

• Own the full AP, AR, and GL cycles end-to-end.
• Drive a clean, on-time month-end close process.
• Maintain accurate books and records for the Philippine entity.
• Manage intercompany reconciliations and transactions with Cimet Australia.
• Deliver timely consolidated reporting to Cimet group finance.

2. Treasury Management

• Manage daily cash flow, bank relationships, and liquidity for Philippine operations.
• Handle funding requests from Cimet and maintain working capital discipline.
• Monitor and manage AUD-PHP foreign exchange exposure.
• Ensure adequate cash positioning at all times.

3. Taxation & Statutory Compliance

• Own end-to-end BIR compliance: VAT, withholding tax, income tax, and all related filings.
• Manage all statutory obligations and deadlines without exception.
• Act as the primary interface with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Ensure adherence to both Philippine regulatory requirements and Cimet group reportingstandards.

4. Business Partnering, Budgeting & Forecasting

• Partner with GMS operations leaders and Cimet’s leadership team on financial planning.
• Drive the annual budget cycle and rolling forecast process.
• Deliver variance analysis with clear commercial commentary.
• Provide financial insights on headcount costs, seat costs, and campaign profitability.

5. Controls, Governance & Reporting

• Establish and maintain a robust internal controls framework.
• Write and enforce finance policies and standard operating procedures.
• Deliver accurate management reports and KPI dashboards on a regular cadence.
• Report to the Senior Finance Manager with timely, accurate management reporting.
