The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing all Finance operations at the travel agency, ensuring effective budget management, Finance planning, and compliance. This role combines Finance expertise with a deep understanding of the travel industry to optimize cost efficiency and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily Finance operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and cash flow management tailored to travel-related transactions
  • Develop, monitor, and adjust travel budgets, forecasting dynamic travel expenses and aligning them with company goals
  • Prepare detailed Finance statements, reports, and analyses specific to travel operations and vendor contracts
  • Negotiate Finance terms and conditions with travel service providers such as airlines, hotels, and transport companies to secure cost-effective agreements
  • Implement travel-specific Finance controls and policy development to ensure regulatory compliance and cost-effective travel practices
  • Utilize travel expense management software and data analytics tools for accurate Finance tracking and reporting
  • Analyze travel cost trends and provide strategic insights for optimizing travel expenditures and improving profitability
  • Lead the finance team, promoting technology proficiency and best Finance practices within the travel domain


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; preferably accountant
  • Minimum 5 years of Finance management experience, ideally in the travel, hospitality, or corporate travel sector
  • Expertise in budgeting, Finance analysis, forecasting, and risk management with a focus on travel-related expenses
  • Strong negotiation skills for dealing with travel vendors and suppliers
  • Proficiency in Finance software, travel expense management platforms, and advanced Excel skills
  • Knowledge of travel industry regulations and compliance requirements
  • Analytical and strategic thinker with excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to develop and enforce travel Finance policies that balance cost control with quality travel experiences.
