Deputy Manager – Finance

Job Overview

The Deputy Manager - Finance will oversee day-to-day

financial operations within the assigned region. Additionally, the role entails

ensuring accurate maintenance of accounts, bookkeeping, MIS reporting,

statutory compliance, and branch control.

Duties & Responsibilities

Job Description

Reporting and Reconciliation

Prepare and manage MIS reports, ensuring accuracy and

completeness, including all necessary reports to Head Office.

Reconcile bank statements, track cash and DD credits, and

generate Daily Activity Reports.

Prepare month-end provisions and intercompany

reconciliations.

Maintain accurate reports and processes, adhering to

established timelines.

Financial Oversight and Coordination

Examine vendor invoices and payment documents.

Verify travel expenses and clearances promptly and

accurately.

Manage timely remittances and RTGS, maintaining complete

documentation.

Coordinate with SSC and company staff for payment processing

and inquiries.

Customer Satisfaction and Routine Operations

Supervise internal customer satisfaction initiatives for the

department.

Perform routine tasks such as stop payments, DD

cancellations, cheque cancellations, cheque deposits, receipts, and manual

payments.

Collaborate with the Travel desk to ensure proper accounting

of surrendered currency in SAP.

Sustainability:

Promote judicious use of natural resources.

Adhere to the organisation's environment, health, and safety

policies, objectives, and guidelines.

Anti Bribery Management Systems (ABMS)

Follow the ABMS roles and responsibilities details as

prescribed on the ABMS manual.

a. Understanding of ethical standards and the importance of

integrity in business practices.

Education

Graduate/postgraduate degree in Commerce & Accounts or

global equivalent degree in the related field.

 Experience

2 – 3 years of experience in Finance & Accounts.
