We are looking for a reliable Finance Manager who will analyze everyday financial activities and advise top management on future financial plans.
The Finance Manager handles the overall management and supervision of the Accounting & Finance Department. This includes overseeing the work of staffs, reviewing financial statements, risk management, budgeting, asset purchases, and sales, and preparing up-to-date reports for Top Management and ensuring that policies and procedures are being implemented and compliant with the standard procedures.
In this role, you can utilize your expertise in financial analysis and strategic planning. You will provide valuable insights and recommendations to top management by analyzing day-to-day financial activities precisely. Monitoring financial performance, identifying areas for improvement, and capitalizing on opportunities will be integral parts of your responsibilities.
Your duties and responsibilities include the following:
Finance Operations
- Hiring, training, and motivating accounting staff members while supervising and delegating department tasks.
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the finance department, including: month and end-year process, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash receipts, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, account statement reconciliations and check runs, debt activity.
- Overseeing the daily activities of finance, evaluating, developing, and improving department controls, systems, and procedures that increase accuracy and efficiency.
- Process and analyze budget, bills payments, and refunds.
- Handle and manage bank reconciliations.
Financial Reports
- Prepare financial reports and financial statements and ensure that all significant projects, month-end, and year-end reports are completed accurately and on time.
- Execute accurate reporting that enables sound analysis and financial recommendations.
Internal Auditing
- Ensures appropriate monitoring of company finances.
- Ensures compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
- Develops internal control policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy
- MUST BE A Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- With at least 5 years of progressive experience handling Accounting, Audit, and Finance activities in Supervisory or Assistant Manager level
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and tax laws.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and systems.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
- Proven knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
- High level of efficiency and accuracy.
- Must be willing to work onsite in Makati City, Philippines.
